A pioneering initiative at South Central Ambulance Service (SCAS) is seeing research paramedics attend potentially eligible CRASH-4 patients in dedicated research cars. We know TXA is more effective the earlier it is given, and the research cars allow eligible patients to be attended rapidly and recruited as quickly as possible.
